Nurturing
curiosity into
lifelong confidence.
Concept Quests by MLC challenges students with problems that spark curiosity and encourage perseverance.
What is
Concept Quests?
Concept Quests is a collection of problem-solving tasks that help K–5 students build their math confidence through engaging challenges.
Concept Quests tasks are designed to allow multiple solution paths, encouraging students to apply what they know, test ideas, and find their own way forward. This means every student—regardless of background or ability—has opportunities to grow as a thinker, sensemaker, and problem solver.
What makes it work?
Accessible for all
Each task is designed with multiple entry points, inviting every student to engage. As they work through challenges, students build a stronger, more positive relationship with math.
Works with any curriculum
Concept Quests fits seamlessly alongside any K–5 math program. Use it as enrichment, exploration, or extension—without replacing your core instruction.
Flexible by design
Use Concept Quests with small groups, for whole-class activities, or as independent work. An activity guide and a self-paced course provide support so educators can implement with confidence.
What does it look like?
Each grade level includes thoughtfully crafted resources, like activity guides and an answer key with background information for instructional planning or reviewing student work.
